Refineries and Oil Gas Facilities:
A petroleum refinery is an industrial process facility where crude oil is processed and refined through complex chemical engineering processes into more useful products such as petroleum naphtha, gasoline, diesel fuel, asphalt base, heating oil, kerosene and liquefied petroleum gas.
Petroleum refineries are typically large, sprawling industrial complexes with extensive pipelines throughout that transport liquid streams between large chemical processing units such as distillation columns.
